ジャカルタからバリを結ぶ10日間のレース、ツール・ド・インドネシアの最新情報をお届けする。
レース日数でいえば、今年アジアで開催されるUCIレースの中でも最長だ。

第1ステージ：
ジャカルタの98キロ。
テレンガヌ・プロ・アジアのキャプテン、福島晋一はこの日のメイン逃げ集団6名のうちの一人。
この中には香港のカンポ選手もいて、フィニッシュラインまで粘り強く残っていた。
福島は惜しくもステージ優勝、並びにイエロージャージを逃し、首位の座をチーム・エディー・ホーランズのオーストラリア人ライダーに譲った。
しかし福島はKOMジャージを獲得。
一方、ハリフは何度もスプリントを仕掛け、7位。
チームはこの日のチーム賞を獲得した。

第2ステージ：
チアミス‐バンドン間の112.7キロ。
ワンが巻き返しを見せ、プロトンから24秒リードして独り勝ち。
イエロージャージを獲得した。

第3ステージ：
チアミス‐シレボン間の114.7キロ。
香港チームは再び勢いをみせ、今回は若手スターのインホンが第三ステージのステージ優勝を獲得。
福島はまたも逃げ集団にいたが、わずか3秒遅れてしまった。
それでも、イエロージャージのワンより1分半もリードしていたため福島は、インドネシア・ポリゴン・スウィート・ナイスチームのSuryadiを通算3秒リードする形となった。

第4ステージ：
テガル‐スマラン間の159.7キロ。
福島はこのステージでも2位でフィニッシュし、またイエロージャージへの新たなタイムリードをみせた。
ちょうど40歳の誕生日を迎えたばかりであったが、まだまだ最強ライダーであることを知らしめた。
Suryadiは総合順位2位の座をカンポに譲ったが、カンポはこの日13秒福島に遅れをとる形となり、1分19秒遅れで総合順位2位に就いた。

第5ステージ：
スマラン‐ソロ間の127.4キロ。
福島にとっても、チーム全体にとっても、ここで2つ目のイエロージャージを獲得し、さらには今年二度目となるグリーンジャージの可能性も期待されたが、福島を含むチームライダーたちを食中毒の災難が襲った。
福島は30秒失い、イエロージャージをインドネシアのステージ勝者、ダニ・レスマナに譲ってしまった。
TSGのスプリンター、アヌアールとハリフは他数名のライダーたちと共に、このステージ失格となった。

第6ステージ：
ソロ‐パシタン間の123.4キロ。
イエロージャージを失い福島は落ち込んでいたが、まだやる気を失ってはいなかった。
食中毒からも回復し、なんとか4位でステージ終了。
TSGのマット・アミンもまた回復しているようで、12位ゴールと前進をみせた。

第7ステージ：
マディウン‐スラバヤ間 160.3キロ。
TSGのトップスプリンターたちはレースから外れ、スプリントステージ優勝への課題はチームのリードグループとマレーシアナショナルチャンピオンであるマット・アミンの肩に圧し掛かっていた。
マット・アミンはトップでフィニッシュラインを通過し、今年4度目の優勝を飾った。

Tour de Indonesia

We want to give a brief update for the Tour de Indonesia, the race is 10 days stage race from Jakarta to Bali Indonesia. The longest UCI race in this year's Asia UCI calendar in terms of number of days racing.

Stage 1, Jakarta 98km, Terengganu Pro-Asia team captain Shinichi Fukushima was in the day's crucial 6 men breakaway which included Hong Kong's Kam-Po survived all the way the finish line, Shinichi narrowly missed the stage win and yellow jersey by crossing the line second to Australian rider from Team Eddy Hollands, but Shinichi took the KOM jersey. Meanwhile, TSG rider Harrif took the bunch sprint in 7th place. TSG won the day's team prize.

Stage 2, Bandung - Ciamis 112.7km, Wang fought back, solo to the finish line 24 seconds ahead of the peloton and taking the yellow jersey.

Stage 3, Ciamis - Cirebon 114.7km, Hong Kong team strike again but this time with their young star Ying Hong taking the stage 3 win, but Shinichi was once again in the break and finished just 3 seconds behind but more importantly almost 1 1/2 minutes ahead of yellow jersey Wang, so Shinichi took over the race overall lead 3 seconds ahead of Suryadi from Indonesia Polygon Sweet Nice team.

Stage 4, Tegal - Semarang 159.7km, despite just celebrated his 40's birthday, Shinichi showed he is still the strongest rider in this race by finishing again 2nd on the stage and built additional time for his yellow jersey lead. Suryadi lost his 2nd GC to Kam Po, but Kam Po lost 13 seconds to Shinchi on the day and sitting 1 minute and 19 seconds behind in the 2nd GC position.

Stage 5, Semarang - Solo 127.4km, everything seem to be on track for Shinichi and TSG to take 2nd yellow jersey and possible another green jersey this year, disaster strikes as Shinichi and other riders caught food poison. Shinichi lost 30 minutes on the day and his yellow jersey to Indonesia's stage winner Dani Lesmana. TSG sprinters Anuar and Harrif among with several other riders were DQ from the stage.

Stag 6, Solo - Pacitan 123.4km, after losing the Yellow jersey, Shinichi was down but not out, he recovered and managed to finish 4th on the stage. TSG's Mat Amin also seem getting better as race progressed by finishing 12th on the stage.

Stage 7, Madiun - Surabaya 160.3km, with TSG's top sprinters out of the race, the task of winning a sprint stage fall on the shoulders of TSG's best lead out man and Malaysia's national champion Sharul Mat Amin, Sharul showed he got the top speed to deliver his 4th victories of this year by crossing the line 1st.
