SHUMA, the brand new full face helmet will be launched. With newly developed cooling system that allows you to feel the introduction of air inside the helmet from the moment you drive, and the new interior that allows you to experience the coolness of the wind passing through, SHUMA realized the high comfortness.

Functions & Technology
The newly designed cooling system "Ultra Cool System" allows you to feel the wind inside the helmet from the moment you started riding. The system layout is designed with the optimum angle of the helmet at riding, such that you can feel the wind even at low speed range. This is achieved by the "wind tunnel experiment" and "CFD analysis" that Kabuto has cultivated over many years.
(Fig. 1) A wind tunnel experiment demonstrated that you can experience the coolness in about 30 seconds from the start of riding.
(Fig. 2) The newly designed chin ventilation, which was developed by determining the optimum combination based on the results of verifying several patterns such as the number, position, angle, and shape of ventilation in advance, requires two devided air introduction. One to the upward direction that reduces the fogging of the shield, and the other to the front direction that takes in air directly to the mouth area, achieving unprecedented coolness.
- A new type of interior allows the wind passing through (HEXA-PAD)
By digitizing the space between the helmet and the head, optimizing the interior thickness distribution, and adding strength to the thickness of most of the fabric by hot pressing, a new sense of seamless fitting with few seams makes you experience the coolness of the wind passing through the helmet.

- "Antibacterial processing" interior * Used for some part of the interior
DEOFACTOR® "antibacterial processing" that suppresses the growth of bacteria on the fibers is used on the material of the outside of the inner pad. DEOFACTOR ® decomposes harmful substances adhering to clothing and textiles by its bacteriostatic action. * DEOFACTOR is a special processing technology developed by KOKORO CARE.
- "CF-1W UIC shield (UIC clear)" with infrared (IR) cut material is equipped as standard
The shield of SHUMA is the same shield of the full-face helmet "KAMUI-3". In addition to the popular 99% ultraviolet (UV) cut, infrared ray(IR) is cut by 74%. The mechanism for opening and closing the shield adopts the speedy shield replacement system "CF-1 Shield System" that can be easily removed by simply pulling the lever of the shield mechanism.

★ About CF-1W UIC Shield (UIC Clear)
UV & IR protection shield is made from high performance polycarbonate by TEIJIN LIMITED, which cuts UV (Ultraviolet ray) and IR (Infrared ray). It has heat ray shielding property that uppresses the temperature rise generated by the infrared rays of sunlight. This shield reduce the heat transfer to the inside of the helmet while maintaining the clear view, which is the most important performance as a helmet shield.

- Intercom Attachment Space
On both side of the helmet, attachment space for intercom or camera is arranged, together with attachment route for its cables. This allows smart attachment without showing the cables from speakers and etc.
