OGK Kabuto has signed a new contract with Aleix Espargaro, 33 years old from Spain, starting in 2023. Aleix Espargaro began competing in the 125cc class of the World Championship in 2005, moved up to the 250cc class midway through the 2006 season, made his MotoGP™ debut in the top-class in the mid-season of 2009, and competed fully in 2010. In 2011, he competed in the Moto2™ class, but returned to the MotoGP™ class the following year in 2012. In 2017 he moved to Aprilia Racing Team Gresini, and in 2022, his fifth year with the team, he took his first win, a pole-to-win, in his 200th race in MotoGP™ the Argentine GP. He has since achieved consecutive podium finishes and 4th place in the annual series ranking. In 2023, he will wear Kabuto's racing flagship helmet, F-17, and will continue to compete in MotoGP™ with Aprilia Racing.
