- OGK Kabuto entered into a contract with Michele Pirro, the MotoGP™ Ducati Factory Test Rider.
OGK Kabuto is pleased to announce a new contract with Michele Pirro (37 years old, from Italy), who is the Ducati Factory Test Rider in MotoGP™, starting from 2024. Michele Pirro began his racing career in 2003 in the 125cc class of the Road Racing World Championship. Since then, he has been an experienced rider, showcasing his skills in various categories such as the Supersport World Championship (WSSP), the Superbike World Championship (WSBK), and the Road Racing World Championship (MotoGP™, Moto2™). Since 2013, he has served as a Ducati test rider, contributing to the development of MotoGP machines. While fulfilling his role as a test rider, Michele Pirro has also participated as a wildcard and substitute for injured riders in MotoGP and WSBK. Additionally, in the Italian Superbike Championship (CIV), where he has been competing since 2015, he has achieved six series championships in nine years. ■Michele Pirro's comment I am very happy to join Kabuto, I know that Kabuto helmets have been a quality reference for many years, it will be a pleasure for me to help in the development of the helmet.
