Kabuto Announces Partnership with MotoGP™ Rider Joan Mir Starting in 2025

Kabuto is pleased to announce a new partnership with Spanish MotoGP™ rider Joan Mir (27 years old) starting in 2025.


Hailing from Palma de Mallorca in the Balearic Islands, Spain, Joan Mir has achieved remarkable milestones throughout his career.



Career Highlights

Joan Mir made his Moto3™ debut in 2016. The following season, he claimed 10 victories and secured the championship title. After advancing to the Moto2™ class, he debuted in the premier category in 2019 with Team Suzuki ECSTAR. In just his second year in MotoGP™, Mir made history by becoming the 2020 World Champion.


Since joining the Repsol Honda Team in 2023, he has faced challenges, finishing the 2024 season ranked 21st.


In 2025, Joan Mir will race in the MotoGP™ class under Honda HRC while wearing Kabuto's flagship racing helmet, the "F-17." We invite fans to follow Joan Mir's journey as he aims for new heights in the upcoming season.

Joan Mir began riding motorcycles at the age of 10 and entered Moto3™ full-time with Leopard Racing in 2016. He earned the Rookie of the Year (ROTY) title with a fifth-place overall ranking in his debut season. In 2017, he dominated the championship, winning 10 races and standing on the podium 13 times.


In 2018, he competed in Moto2™ with the Marc VDS Racing Team, earning four podium finishes and securing ROTY again with a sixth-place overall ranking.


In 2019, Mir joined the Suzuki ECSTAR factory team, starting his MotoGP™ journey. He showed consistency in his rookie season, finishing 12th overall. The following year, he clinched his first MotoGP™ podium in Spielberg and secured his first victory at the European GP, culminating in the 2020 World Championship title as the seventh-youngest champion in history.


While injury impacted his 2022 season (15th overall), Mir continued to persevere, joining Honda HRC in 2023. Despite challenges, including multiple injuries, he showed resilience and determination, scoring 21 points in 2024 to hint at future potential.
