We are proud to announce the launch of FA2, our lightest-ever half-rim eyewear, joining our performance eyewear lineup.
The newly added FA2 model shares the same ultra-thin NXT® photochromic lenses as last year's popular FA1 and ICU models. These high-performance lenses offer outstanding impact resistance, durability, and optical clarity. In addition to their photochromic function, the lenses feature a mirror coating that helps reduce glare from sunlight while maintaining sharp, clear vision.
At just 20 grams, FA2 is the lightest model in the series. The frame is bonded directly to the lenses using special materials, and the minimalist temples are paired with soft temple pads -- achieving the perfect balance between lightness and stability.

・Asian-Fit Cylindrical Wide Lens
Designed with a cylindrical shape for wide horizontal vision and a snug fit tailored to Asian facial structures.
・Anti-Reflective Coating
Applied to the lens surface to suppress unwanted reflections. Enhances visibility, especially with high-transmittance clear lenses.
・Wide Range of Visible Light Transmission
Utilizes NXT® lenses with the widest transition range in the lineup. The photochromic agents are blended into the lens material itself, offering longer-lasting performance compared to traditional coated photochromic lenses.
・Lightweight and Comfortable Fit
Bonding the thin NXT® lenses to the frame using flexible materials provides a secure fit without compromising lightweight performance -- ideal for various sports activities.
・Slimmed-Down Temples
The streamlined, no-frills temple arms reduce excess bulk while soft temple pads help prevent slippage during movement.
・Eco-Friendly Rilsan® Clear G850 Rnew Frame Material
To support a more sustainable future, the FA2 uses Rilsan® Clear G850 Rnew -- a bio-based polyamide made from 45% plant-derived materials, the same material used in our ICU model.
・Compatible with Inner Frame
Supports optional clip-in nylon inner frames for prescription lenses.
・Adjustable Nose Pad with 3-Position Height Setting
Features a stable, adjustable nose pad for personalized fit and comfort.
